$300,000 in Classroom & Project Grants

  • Bozeman Reads Early Learning Center: $250,000 raised to furnish 6 pre-K classrooms for 80+ young learners.

  • Links to Literacy: Every first grader in BSD7 received a copy of Enemy Pie, plus classroom and library copies.

  • Spark Grants: Over $30,000 funded for innovative teacher projects across the district.

$150,000 in Student & Family Support

  • Walker Nelson Youth Resilience Fund: New this fall, addressing student mental health and well-being.

  • Student & Family Support: Expanded staffing to better serve homeless and under-housed students.

  • Homeless & Hungry Fund: Emergency housing support for families in crisis.

  • Pack the Sack: Partnering with schools and families to provide food assistance through the Gallatin Valley Food Bank.

Your support also made the community-building traditions we all love possible:

  • Santa Run for Education presented by Stockman Bank: nearly 1,000 runners and volunteers came together to raise funds.

  • BSD7 Staff Holiday Party: a joyful way to thank teachers and staff.

  • Apple Awards: heartfelt appreciation shared from families to educators across the district.

We are deeply grateful for your support and for allowing us to be your partner in strengthening our public schools.

Together, we’re helping every student thrive.

The Links to Literacy book giveaway has a strong impact on my first graders, who are thrilled to learn they can keep the book. Many carry it back and forth to school each day to enjoy the pictures or practice reading. We’re grateful for the thoughtful books from the BSF Links to Literacy program.

The Spark Grant from the Bozeman School Foundation helped to establish the Bozeman Film Club. In two short years, the grant has helped to SPARK a BHS/MT PBS film internship, trips to DC and Missoula film intensives, a high school curated section in an upcoming Bozeman Film Festival, and even inspired a student to attend the MSU Film program.  It is amazing what a little help getting started can lead to!

THANK YOU, BSF!

— George Scott, Bozeman High School Teacher, Film Club
