Worthy Student
Worthy Student Scholarship Fund
About
This general scholarship fund provides scholarship money for students nominated by the BHS Educators. This fund provides the community with a tool to donate large and small amounts towards higher education.
In 1978, Worthy Student was founded in honor of Marjorie Keeton, a teacher, school board member and promoter of worthy ideals in the community. The concept of honoring seniors simply for their resourcefulness, dependability, respect and personal effort is unique to Bozeman. As a community, parents, families, individuals, business owners, law firms, banks and other professional organizations show their support by funding these scholarships.

2011 Worthy Scholarship Recipients and Distinguished Educators

As a firefighter in Southwest Colorado this summer I have had a lot of time for self reflection. Some of my best moments of my high school career were influenced by the Bozeman Schools Foundation. From the day that I was informed that I received the award to the senior night awards ceremony and the scholarship parent and teacher night reception I was always in a good mood. The scholarship I received really helped with my college tuition and got me off to the right start knowing that nothing is impossible. Thank you again to all of those that support the Worthy Student scholarship program.
