Scholarships Overview
Bozeman School Foundation Scholarships
The Bozeman Schools Foundation works together with families and individuals to establish scholarships for graduating high school seniors as well as students in school for select outside of school programs. It is the policy of Bozeman Schools Foundation to accept funds in any amount for scholarship purposes as long as no restrictions are placed on the gift that conflict with the existing policies of the Foundation. With a named endowed scholarship at a minimum gift of $25,000 the donor is also given the option of helping to set the criteria for selection. The life span of the scholarship will be determined by the amount of the initial gift, subsequent donations, interest, and by the frequency and the amount of the award.
The Foundation works with High School guidance counselors to promote the scholarship opportunities. A BSF committee of community volunteers meets to evaluate and select recipients of the scholarship funds. If you are interested in learning more about establishing a named scholarship or giving to a general scholarship fund please contact Mary Jo O'Donnell, Executive Director at 406-522-6071.
